Real world asset traceability is a legitimate blockchain use case, the regulatory deadline is real, and I will give them credit for having a working proof of concept rather than a slide deck.
What specifically concerns me
This is a commercial venture serving a specific supply chain in a specific country, with paying customers at the end of it. That is exactly the profile that should raise private capital, not treasury capital. Agricultural traceability has a business model. Let's be real about it: if the durian industry needs this before a December deadline, the durian industry can fund it. Treasury money should go where no commercial return exists to attract private money.
What I am asking of the proposer if this passes
It was dropped. Build it with private or industry capital, prove the volume on Cardano mainnet, then come back for marketing support to tell that story. That sequence I would support.
